After we solved our recession

We love the lands where we are living

And on heroes steps we are continuing

Our parents and the grand grew tired

GDP, Let Me Be

GDP you label me with monetary value

My life, my love, my everything

But still, you feel to see

Oh, GDP just let me be a measure of my own

For happiness cannot be bought My favorite things are free

Generally, it has a effective function.

Demand and supply is its definition.

People and public consider it as a fantastic reference about the--

Growth of your income or the--

Decreasing of a product's worth.

Proves the policy of the economic does work.

Three little letters, GDP,

With a huge effect on the economy

When comparing figures from year to year,

The deflation predicts another great depression is near.

Not only affecting the country’s wealth,

But also the standard of living, including our health

Economies rise and fall

But the GDP will go on

Markets crash and burn

But the GDP will go on

Jobs run out and are scarce

But the GDP will go on

Communities dismember and are ruined

But the GDP will go on

Homes are run down and abandoned

But the GDP will go on

Families are sick and hungry

But the GDP will go on

In a place where emotion is lost

And well-being is low

The GDP will go on

Is a measure of wealth.

Grossly misunderstood and

Not a measure of health.

Domestic made goods

Are purchased and export.

While the domestics we buy

Are scored as an import.

Investment in product

And private consumption.

Make the Gross Domestic Product

Just an assumption.

GDP Arguments

GDP needs to change.

GDP need to stay the same.

It does not take into consideration of people’s happiness

It takes into consideration that the economy needs to be balanced.

Counts volunteering as nothing.

Counts actual jobs as everything.

Environmental impact means nothing.

Environmental impact does not exist.

The rich get richer,

The poor get poorer.

GDP

Oil winged birds and suicide rates,
Bread lines and bread lines,
Suffering and pain.

Four day work weeks and social progress,
Smiles and smiles,
Happiness and bliss.

20's and 80's... centuries gone,
Recession, recessions,
It won't be long.

Beat down and blunder, life lost again,
Transactions, transactions,
Where does it end.

Money or progress, who will win,
Community, health, aspirations, my friends,
Depletion, pollution, resources gone,
My world is ending and life is not long.

What is Gross Domestic Product (GDP)?

GDP just isn’t a cliché

Gross domestic product controls the market

The economy’s GDP is reported annually

Our countries GDP includes all goods and services

The monetary value of all that’s produced within a countries boarders

GDP has a formula that calculates private and public consumption

The “C” represents our consumer spending

The “G” signifies government spending

The “I” illustrates the country’s business spending

And the NX indicates total net exports minus imports

GDP measures our nation’s productivity
